are the commands : 

1 - Add the repo
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa -y
sudo apt-get update

2 - Install the latest version 
sudo apt-get install nvidia-current

And if you want to remove it one day : sudo apt-get purge nvidia*
