Hi pymol users,
I've observed a weird behaviour with the open source pymol (v 1.7.2.1-2.2 running on ubuntu 16.04). When I try to create some distance objects either via the command line of the actions menu, an object is created but no dashed lines appear. When I "zoom" this object it is very far in space from the atoms I selected to make the distances between, and there is still nothing I can do to make the dashed lines appear.
