Ok, fair enough. I think you have given arguments enough to let PyTables have a chance with the Launchpad service :). In addition, Ivan is also ok with this. Probably Ivan and me will register as administrators for this site as well (it can be convenient for doing some tasks, like changing some descriptions, logo, etc.), but it would be nice if you can act as the main responsible for the site for the time being. I'm mainly interested in seeing that Launchpad can become useful not only to the upstream developers, but specially for distro managers. I really think that providing the easiest path to install PyTables (and most specially its dependecies) is very important for spreading its use, and perhaps Launchpad might contribute to improve the process of packaging PyTables for as much distributions as possible (currently PyTables releases are arriving quite late to distros :-/).
