My understanding is that the "PSF Executive Director" Ernest cited has
nothing to do with the Steering Council, but with the PSF ;-) In any
case, that's why I said "if it's the position of the PSF ...".
As PSF Staff, the SC isn’t responsible for directing me to do anything in
particular.
This is why Executive Director was involved at all, to convey their decision to
me.
I performed the configuration literally at my director's direction.
