I use BerkeleyDB everyday in a lot of application critical environments, like mailbox storage and such, specially combined with Durus persistence engine. I have medical clients with hundred of terabytes of data under Durus+BerkeleyDB, happy and glad to have met me :). PS: Yes I tried also ZODB+BerkeleyDB. It was ugly and unusable (sigh!), but I don't know why you suppose BerkeleyDB was the one to blame. - -- Jesus Cea Avion _/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/_/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.argo.es/~jcea/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ jabber / xmpp:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _/_/ _/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ ~ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "Things are not so easy" _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "My name is Dump, Core Dump" _/_/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "El amor es poner tu felicidad en la felicidad de otro" - Leibniz -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.8 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQCVAwUBR83hLJlgi5GaxT1NAQJJ0wQAhjmGh5CWxaiEEkduXuJJFTl1kr4mg8Rr i5Fy+xuquYXScGlv8p0O2G7B+bqji+46cuhk6htuFfXpfIBXBW7QSTBDS4KlsD2+ 8dHxZvKg7irH1rISD6mOfeeAkqFWcVFOBgLOGbwU1EPD+Jfqppaa2dPZ0XemHQon ve3ZAC6wWyg= =xecT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Python-Dev mailing list Python-Dev@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-dev Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-dev/archive%40mail-archive.com
