Nick Barnes, Python user since 1999. My company Ravenbrook Limited is based in Cambridge but I'm in Manchester and my colleague David Jones is in Sheffield.
Currently using Python for our Clear Climate Code project <http://clearclimatecode.org/>, which I spoke about on Sunday morning at PyconUK. I've had various offers of volunteer help since then, and I'm interested in suggestions of how best to manage that. A Google Code project? We also use Python for loads of other things. I do the company accounts using some Python that I hacked up for the purpose. Our P4DTI project is all in Python. David gave a talk on Saturday at PyconUK showing how he used Python for lots of little glue purposes in a recent embedded project. This variorum Bugzilla schema documentation has a bunch of Python behind it: <http://www.ravenbrook.com/project/p4dti/tool/cgi/bugzilla-schema/> We did the Python regexp mugs handed out at PyconUK, which were so successful I'm ordering more from the printers. Anyone here who didn't get one, or who wants another? I think NW Python socials would be a fine idea. Oh, and how can I get these messages sent to a non-gmail address? I don't have my gmail account wired up to the rest of my email, and sometimes neglect it for weeks at a time.
