I find that the Maya API is extremely well provided and, in addition, relatively clear compared to other ... I have reasons not to use it in this case: - The first is to take a more important step in math and to understand better certain calculation process. In order to improve some of my rig techniques, but also in the development of some tools. - The python is excellent for prototyping, fast to write and no need to compile. I make codes in python that serve me as a lib. Some more complex and gourmant codes are a very very good optimization exercise, because the python is heavy especially in iterations.
