It's been a while since I've tried PyCharm, but I can say that WingIDE Pro is
wonderful for django as it's not only got first-class support, but also allows
you to set breakpoints in Django's template files. Also, the integrated
debugger/introspection is mind-blowingly good.

The pro version is pricey, but well worth the investment. I actually started of
using it in college for some non-commercial open source projects and they were
kind enough to give me a license for the pro version for open source
development for free. Once I started working on commercial software I knew what
IDE I wanted :-)

In short, if you're not using vim/emacs directly, then take a good long look at
both WingIDE and PyCharm, if you can afford it, and see which works best for
you.

Best of luck!
Tim
