2.7 is the current version. 2.6 is depreciated. As it is I can't
install PythonOCC on my Mac because of incompatibles between the
version of python that I work with and the one that various parts of
PythonOCC insist on using.
Ideally anything I put on may machine should 'just work', but failing
that I should be any to compile stuff like this with any current stable
version of python.
