I use to work with a MacBookPro (python 2.5 and 2.6 installed by default) and Ubuntu 10.04 (python 2.6 by default). Python 2.6 and 2.5 are installed on my Windows virtual machine. Nobody has ever requested any 'port' of pythonocc to 2.7 (I'm not even sure it requires any additional tweak). 2.6 may be deprecated, but I'm quite sure it's still widely used by people on this ml. A kind of survey is surely necessary. > As it is I can't > install PythonOCC on my Mac because of incompatibles between the > version of python that I work with and the one that various parts of > PythonOCC insist on using. > Did you try to get pythonocc compile with 2.7? Your feedback would be very interesting. > Ideally anything I put on may machine should 'just work', Believe me, we spent hundred of hours of development to make this 'just work' just real, so we're a bit aware of this issue. You're welcome to contribute to this effort with your the help of your strong 2.7 expertise. Best Regards, Thomas
