Some general thoughts: especially when having an object-relational
mapping (via SQLAlchemy) IMHO it's quite important to have simple
methods to guarantee access to all data. And maybe such functionalities
should work independently - outside of (main) pytrainer. Ie some very
basic command line tool (so in a worst case scenario data are still
available, even if the main program won't work.)

Due to the complex structure of the data one also could think of
(additional) other human-machine readable formats like JSON (or that
other ;)
