Thanks for your idea. Would you consider opening a ticket
(enhancement) to track it?

Description you have made above reminds me to a command line email
client. To be honest, I could use these applications (e.g. mutt) for
very basic actions (currently I use it just to send emails with
attachments via shell scripts triggered by cron from some hosted
servers), but it turned into a mess with more than 10 simple (plain
text) emails.

Remember source GPX+ files are always stored under ~/.pytrainer/gpx/ ;)
