yes I saw that (to be honest very late), but as you said, for the user
all all this is more than confusing ;)

- pace should sit close to speed, it's an equivalent

- actually both speed & pace get calculated automatically within the
daily tab (which often coincides with record iff one activity per day)
but, as said, not so within the record view.

- you can supply e.g. duration & speed to obtain a distance, but not so
with pace (input locked). But in certain cases this might be useful.

- calculation/display of pace within 'advanced' needs some correction as
it exposes some pathological behaviour.
Example: pace derived from 10k with 59 min 59 secs is calculated as
5:60. Not really wrong ;) but needs to be displayed as 6:00 of course.

yup. One is reciprocal to the other. They are not independent.
