Hi all, For all clarity, I'm talking about tables in *Writer*; not in Calc.
I found similar bug reports in bugzilla that describe this "defect" in product:spreadsheet of OOo 1.1 (bug ID's 28986 and 26965), both reported in 2004. The protection of cells in a Writer table is also a new feature in AOO3.5, if I'm not mistaken? I'll make a step by step reproduction procedure in Bugzilla and attach a file that has the defect on my system.
