A custom toolchain module repository then, maybe? Something not necessairly 100% to the standard if qbs, but a place to gather templates people could start off of. I would gladly contribute my grpc/protobuf generator to such a place. it's not 100% ideal code, but it does its job even if it needs a bit of setting up.
