Hello, I'm working on Cameroon coastal layer shapefile and i would like generate several unilateral buffers : buffers only on one side (toward ocean) and no toward continent. How to do that on Qgis 1.8 ? If you have a polygon layer of Cameroon then create the buffer as usual, and use the "Difference" function in Vector->Geoprocessing tools to clip out the part over the continent. The "difference layer" will be the boundary of Cameroon. Thank you to throw light for me. Kind regards. -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/Qgis-1-8-How-to-do-an-Unilateral-buffer-tp4987586.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Qgis-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user This mail was received via Mail-SeCure System. -- Micha Silver 052-3665918 |
