Hi,

I worked on the dissolve tool recently , and the work got commited a couple days ago [1] So, if you are using current master, you must set the dissolve field for the layer. If you are using a stable version of QGIS (e.g. 2.10) you must untick the checkbox "Dissolve all (do not use field)". I recommend to use my patch because it is a lot faster than the old algorithm.

Hi all,

I tried using the dissolve tool from the QGIS geoprocessing tools and
all features get dissolved together, resulting in only one feature,
regardless of the dissolve field. I tried with several datasets. Do you
have the same problem or is it only me ? I've used this tool in the
past, and it worked ok.

Thanks for your help !

Julie.
