I have experienced some problems with the dbf driver as well.
Are you running VISTA?
I think it is a permissions problem in VISTA. When a command tries to invoke
the dbf driver (or any database for that matter) the OS block the execution
of that command.
if you do db.tables -p, do you get:
"Invalid Argument: can't _spawnl
ERROR: Unable to start driver <dbf>"?
