Since API can not inherit from SPI code, the immediate answer is that there will be no inheritance. And I am not sure we want to transfer stuff into API. However, we might do another way around; Put the ImportedServiceDescriptor back into API, let it inherit CompositeDescriptor, and make a new interface in API that is tailored for its particular use.
