Alex, Unlike Apache we are more pragmatic here. As long as the license allows you to release your work under an Apache v2.0 license AND that your work is not part of core functionality, it is OK, BUT you need to document it clearly.
Ex. Neo4j is under the ferocious AGPL but still we allow a Neo4j entitystore. People who need it may be willing to either go with AGPL OR negotiate the commercial license terms with Neo Technology... That said; Why do you even want to involve Hibernate? From my PoV it adds zero value as an ES. IBatis maybe... curious of your thinking. -- Niclas On Aug 27, 2009 10:43 PM, "Alex Shneyderman" <[email protected]> wrote: Talking about licenses ... I am implementing QRM with hibernate (which I believe is LGPL) is that license compatible with qi's? Or am I setting myself up for disappointment? thx, alex.
