The main concern I have is for clients. We run our client through JWS, and it is absolutely impossible for us to guarantee that everyone is "up to scratch" at customer sites. Java5 is not a problem, that I know from experience. So if there's no really good reason to ditch Java5 I'd like to keep it a little longer.
