I have been using recently SMSQE v3.07 on my Q40 and Q60. These versions were
produced from source code altered so that the same source (apart from macros
which are in separate directories) can be compiled either using Qmac and
linker or by using GWASS and Qlink. The Qmac version is on the Q40 and the
GWASS
version is on the Q60. Both these seem fairly stable. Oddly enough the program
most prone to collapse is QD!! Sometimes it just hangs. RJOB sorts it out and I
can continue. However, on earlier compilations of v3.07 I did find that a
daughter basic just disappeared suddenly, which was a bit unnerving. The
recently
compiled versions have so far not shown that trouble.

It would be interesting to know what faults of this nature are being
experienced by Q40/60 users. Assembling this information could provide a route
to a
cure.
