Right, I wasn't even aware of that possibility!

Yes, this was introduced in smsq/e and is not even present in Minerva.

Perhaps, in that case, it should be kept separate from the home dir and
a simple function should return that name? The name also seems to be
limited to 36 bytes, something I'd like to avoid for the Homedir thing.

Just on a side note - why does everyone refer to 36 bytes as the filename length?


It is 41 (including the device name), or 42 if over a network server (eg. n2_win1_test_bas)
