From UK Socket to US Socket) - I do have UK Plugs in abundance (most of them say "Commodore" on them too... God knows where I unearthed them from... It is fine and safe, of course, for most ordinary stuff, but > absolutely hopeless for computer equipment. Actually there's mandatory earth in every socket installed/sold in the US. That is the third hole underneath the two "blade" style slots. For reference: Wide "Slot" = Neutral, Narrow "Slot" = Live, Round Hole: Earth. Also on US two conductor power cables. Smooth jacket = Live / Ribbed jacket = Neutral _______________________________________________ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
