Sorry you did not get an official reply from QL Today earlier, but I was at Eindhoven over the weekend and only got back home this afternoon.

The situation is that on Saturday Jochen had still not received money from QBranch to place the print order.

As soon as the money is on Jochen's account the printer will be given the order. If all goes well the printer will have these available within 48 hours, but there is always a risk that he has too much other work. The copies then have to be shipped to England and distributed by QBranch.

Realistically we are probably talking about up to a fortnight before you get your QL Today.

I can only stress again that the magazine was ready on time and people who subscribe via JMS had their copies some weeks ago. This includes one or two people in the UK like Malcolm Cadman.

As you can imagine Jochen and I are extremely angry about this situation especially as it is the second time within a year that we have had to delay printing of the UK copies because of QBranch not paying on time. Again I have to stress that QBranch is legally responsible for QL Today readers who subscribe through them.

If distribution of QL Today is proving too much for QBranch then Jochen and I are quite prepared to take over responsibility for this provided QBranch reaches a financial agreement with us and immediately settles an account for all of the remaining issues.

Once again I stress that if people want to contact me privately, they are welcome to do so,

Best Wishes,

Geoff
