If you have opted to receive the Quanta magazine as a PDF via email, there is a roundabout way of extracting the listing, since QL basic programs are essentially plain text. Just use the text selection tool in the PDF reader and copy he text to a file. You may have to tidy it up a little by hand (e.g. to remove blank lines or page breaks), but it is possible to save typing time until the listing appears on the website.
