This Issue also benefits from having few long program listings. Listings
are OK if they are relatively short. However, both the short and the
longer listings are prone to printing and transcription errors. So, better
if supplied on a media of some type every now and again; or downloadable
from the Quanta web site.
If you have opted to receive the Quanta magazine as a PDF via email, there
is a roundabout way of extracting the listing, since QL basic programs are
essentially plain text. Just use the text selection tool in the PDF reader
and copy he text to a file. You may have to tidy it up a little by hand
(e.g. to remove blank lines or page breaks), but it is possible to save
typing time until the listing appears on the website.
