Also, the previous magazine was Volume 25, Issue 4, Aug/Sept/Oct 2008.
Which suggests that an Issue 5 has been missed out.
I know that with the delays in the magazine production this may be
deliberate. Yet it will also confuse any collectors of the magazine in
the future.
Err, yes. John Gilpin did point this out at Sunday's committee meeting. I'm
sure John will explain...
After the long delay we ran into with the autumn issues, several issues are
being produced close together and I thought we might struggle a bit with
material like (wearing my news editor's hat) news, and helpline for example.
In practice, a surprising amount of material turned up and I'm very pleased
with the activity still happening on the QL scene in Quanta's Silver Jubilee
year in the run up to QL Is 25 (Plus, Plug).
I hope everyone will be able to appreciate that John Gilpin has done
remarkable work with the magazine (he also holds two other committee
posts!).
