It is definitely achievable if somebody has the time and motivation, especially as I expect the QemuLator debugger to basically behave like an ICE and not being affected by any anti-debugging tricks. It is highly unlikely that the program includes its own MDV access code, so the entries to the MDV vectors might be a good starting point.
