Oh dear! Now a second reply.
I am aware of this and you will find news items about it coming in the next
Quanta Magazine and QL Today. It unfortunately puts us back to the situation
of a year ago where I have to make a decision on the future of the site.
Ideally I want to move to my own domain on a subscription host, but I have
to be certain that there is a future for the site and that I shall have the
time to maintain it. The other alternative is complete closure.
I can assure you that there is no direct danger from my pages, although you
should watch out for multimania tracking cookies. The problem appears to be
that Norton is referring to all multimania hosted sites.
You may remember that about this time last year - in my last posting on this
list - I gave a warning that QL activities were preventing me from other
urgent tasks. The time formerly devoted to Quanta and this list is now given
to non-QL activities and is not coming back. Last summer I dumped the QL for
three months to do my family history CD project and this weekend I was
informed that I have just sold an article to a family history magazine for
which I am to be paid.
QL Today continues and will continue to get my time and enthusiasm,
