Actually, for once in my life, that wasn't me (I think it was George
Gwilt???)!
Although there is one particular incident from my past which proves
you do need a light when stationary (or rather your car does). Several
years ago I got a fixed penalty fine for parking facing the wrong way
at night in Caernarfon. :o(
How many know that's a driving offence here? OK, technically you're
not driving at the time, but...
So, John, your next task is to write a QL program to interface to a
car and GPS etc (once Adrian finishes his USBWiz gizmo) to warn the
driver of offences imminently about to be caused - there, back on
topic :-)
