So what are you writing this Game in and what exactly are you having difficulty in processing within this "1 second". With out knowing this I think any advice would be opinion at best.

The other is a speed issue - I can't do all the calculations within a 1 second tick on a native speed QL - anything GC+ it can work well. I investigated compilers to try and get a speed boost but my mind wasn't ready to absorb that yet, so I shelved it until my mind is. The Gravity game: I am having fun with this and you may see a beta/demo in the coming months - the game-play is actually quite catchy! Again, needs a GC or faster QL or simulator... Gold Card batteries: I ran out of money after ordering the PCBs and being delivered the wrong battery holders. This is on hold until later. Backplanes: All partially assembled, awaiting a couple of components... I have also gone through and tried a lot of hardware combinations... I have the following which work: US QL with JSU ROMs (Wish I had plain JS ROMs), Gold Card, Sandy SuperQBoard mk 2 w/ mouse port, a Trump Card (896K) I have the following untested (due to lack of documentation/other needs) Aurora, QubIDE. I am working on the following: a US-suitable dual floppy drive. I have a suitable PSU and mechanisms, but no suitable cable or case as yet. I may buy an aluminum case at Fry's and do some metalwork. Also, a better display method... With a backplane/case/PSU, will a Gold Card, Aurora and QubIDE play nice?
