Isn't that why the V-sync line is inverted or whatever. I got an early JS QL and needed that mod for display on NTSC here in the states. Hopefully someone here can recall what is needed. I sure don't.

US QL with JSU ROMs (Wish I had plain JS ROMs),
I'm sure I mentioned having a JS QL going spare a while back? Might
not have microdrives though.

Cheers,
Norm.
I have JS ROM images on my website, Dave, if you have a way an EPROM programmer.

I wonder if a UK JS ROM would work in an American QL? I've never thought of that before. Wonder if there'd be 50/60 Hz issues, and of course the PAL/NTSC TV display issue? Anyone know the answer to that one?

I have JS ROMs for sale on sellmyretro.com - an American QL will work in the UK, but that is mainly because there is a small toggle switch next to the UHF modulator, which you can flick over - not fitted on all boards.

JS ROMs will work on an American QL, with output via the RGB socket - the display on an American TV will be squashed because of the PAL/NTSC issue :-(
