Thanks a lot for posting this.  Although I've read a lot of it before it's
very nice to have all of the articles brought together as scans, and it's
still fascinating reading.

I originally asked about MG because I wanted to know if anything had been
changed in the area of the IOSS but, in fact, I had lead myself on a Wild
Goose Chase; as the problem was in all ROM versions except Minerva - I just
hadn't noticed!

But while we're on the subject of MG ROMs (MGUK, in fact) does anyone know
what the single line black window that appears in the top half of S*BASIC
window #1 after booting is all about?  I know MGUK is not an official ROM (I
believe it was hacked from the Greek MG ROM) and  I'm sure I looked into
this before, many years ago, but can't remember the outcome.
