But while we're on the subject of MG ROMs (MGUK, in fact) does anyone know
what the single line black window that appears in the top half of S*BASIC
window #1 after booting is all about? I know MGUK is not an official ROM
(I
believe it was hacked from the Greek MG ROM) and I'm sure I looked into
this before, many years ago, but can't remember the outcome.
The MGUK was a privately produced QL ROM produced by John Alexander. I
remember being told about it by David Batty (Sector Software) and Dennis
Briggs (Adman Services) around the time it became available. The ROM is now
available to download from my site, and I think John Alexander was on this
list last year, don't know if still a subscriber.
