I simply can't remember... I know it was something sensible but can't remember 
what.

I found the Microdrive and floppy with the source on it a few weeks ago, I'll 
take a look at it now I've been reminded. I've been looking for my printouts of 
the code for ages so maybe this is the time to hack some old 68K code !

Hopefully my QL's will now still boot.

Worryingly the code I did is now older than many of the folk going to the 
Edinburgh hackerspace I've been visiting whilst working here.

The MGUK was a privately produced QL ROM produced by John Alexander. I remember 
being told about it by David Batty (Sector Software) and Dennis Briggs (Adman 
Services) around the time it became available. The ROM is now available to 
download from my site, and I think John Alexander was on this list last year, 
don't know if still a subscriber.
