Realistically without more information as to what he means by 'won't
work' is needed
Has he unzipped it in Windows or inside the QL for example - he should
have attached the zip file directly as a drive in q-emulator and then
extracted to a folder - I just tried the version here which is in the
Preservation Team's shared folder and that seems to work fine in
q-emulator (although I am not sure how to test it!)

I'm a bit confused with the GST-QC package.
When I download it from the 'C and C68' directory, this version will
unzip, boot, show a nice shell environment...and won't work.
I use Q-emulator BTW. (and i'm having the same problem with Xchange)
In the Programming Language Section there is another version of
GST-QC. This won't even unzip, a problem with the directory
or something.
Maybe you know this quick and easy way to make it work?
