Empirically, I was wrong. i just happened to have some flp drives under SMSQmulator and not under QPC. When I have no flp drives (and no mdvs), then the program crashes. With flp it works. When I set an image file as flp under QPC, it works there. So all that person has to do is to make sure there is something in flp1_.
