Dilwyn,

the version I just pulled from your website unpacks fine, the compiler shell ("COMPILE") doesn't work, however. On QPC, it will just open a number of windows and sit there and do nothing. I have tried to recompile the program from the included sources, that version works a bit better, even gets halfway round to actually start the compiler, but still crashes after some time.

The compiler, assembler, and linker themselves apparently work fine, so working from the command line according to tha manual instead of the shell seems to work.

Unfortunately, my time is up as I have to pack up to catch an early plane tomorrow. Maybe I have a bit of time to look into it on the week-end.

BUT: C68 is a way better compiler than GST anyhow ;)

A user in Belgium has reported a possible problem with the GST QC compilers on my website - it looks like it doesn't work on QemuLator at least.

Not being C literate, I haven't a clue how to address this - can anyone help us?

(BTW - I realised it was messy having one version on my C page, another on my Programming Languages page, so I've moved them all onto the C page at http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/c/index.html )

I'm a bit confused with the GST-QC package.
When I download it from the 'C and C68' directory, this version will unzip, boot, show a nice shell environment...and won't work.
I use Q-emulator BTW. (and i'm having the same problem with Xchange)
In the Programming Language Section there is another version of GST-QC. This won't even unzip, a problem with the directory
or something.
Maybe you know this quick and easy way to make it work?
