PS. When it was still illegal to be gay in the UK, my uncle had to hide away with his friends and lovers. He couldn't be open about it. However, his sexuality was not his choice, it was just how he was "built".
Breaching someone's copy rights, is voluntary, and done pretty much knowingly. The two are not the same thing. Apples and oranges.
