As the PC world is where the money is for programmers, there have been
many versions of the big two of Freehand and Corel Draw.  Each has its
devotees, depending on which was learnt first, or on features required.
Both are now very large and complex programs, especially for the
beginner.

Of course, there are many others for PC's commercially; and many
shareware and freeware.  Not to mention that the Apple platform as
always been the preferred one for graphic artists ...

Exactly what features does LineDesign have ?  With the PE and the new
GD2 there is an increased potential for achieving creative graphics in a
QL environment.
