Phoebus,

if you define a new proc or FN with the same name as an existing one, the
second one takes control. So TK2, for example, modifies CALL (to fix the 32K
bug), OPEN (all variants - to use DATAD$ and PROGD$ when looking for the
filename). PRINT, as far as I know, isn't modified, but PRINT_USING is
added.

PS. You can also force the new definitions to 'go away' if you want. I'm
sure this was in DIY TK and/or the Liberator toolkit.
