Not necessarily if ALL of the colour affecting procedures are replaced in one single program (That would be useful for full screen apps for sure). Care should also be exercised restoring the mode after you're done... IIRC especially for Aurora with its 3 screen areas, SMSQ/E could still write on SCR0 and the results would be tranlated to the appropriate mode on SCR2 (I do remember fiddling with that (while I still had my SGC which should be back any time now... :-)) and with very good results.) Sure more investigation is needed but the potential is there... I don't expect TT to have Aurora GD2 ready anytime soon (unless v. 2.99 dealt with it) Phoebus
