Hi all,

It's a very long time since I wrote to this list. I am still around, but I
am in one of my periodical losses of interest in the QL, and, frankly,
anything else to do with computers. It has to do with my previous job, which
temporarily killed any interest of mine in computers as a hobby.

I have just bought a new PC though. It's a 1.6Ghz Pentium 4, and to say that
QPC runs fast would be something of an understatement.

Anyway, the reason I am writing is that I have been clearing out some
cupboards and I would like to get rid of my old QL. It was originally a JM
ROM, but it now has a very early Minerva ROM. It has no disk drives, but it
does have a very old 640K memory expansion with no through port, of unknown
providence. The proceeds will go towards funding my new hobby. Anyone
interested in what it is can look at http://photos.yahoo.com/dbaum0000.

I also have loads of stuff on microdrive cartridges, unsorted and untested.
The QL itself worked the last time I turned it on, which was about a year
ago I think. There is also a green Ferguson 12" monitor, also untested but
presumed working.

How does UKP30 for the QL, UKP 20 for the microdrive cartridges and UKP20
for the monitor sound, or UKP60 for the whole lot? Just bear in mind that
you would also have to pay shipping from Israel to wherever you live. This
shouldn't be _too_ much, especially if you ship it by surface mail.

If anyone's interested I also have an Atari 520ST (expanded to 1MB!) with an
internal floppy
drive and B/W monitor.

I'd hate to have to throw this stuff away, and I would really like to find a
good home for it.

Regards,

Daniel Baum
