Addendum:
The fast memory trick seems to do it, I now have a test version of QPC
that only uses the first MB of RAM for slaving. It is just irritating
that all functions to determine the remaining free memory of course
refer to this "(s)low" memory, so it always shows that 847kb are free,
although there are e.g. at least 30MB more ("fast" memory) available.
Does anybody here have experience with Ataris and fast memory? Are
there fixes available for the problem, are there other problems as
well?
