Exactly my idea. There won't be any new window manager, at least not from me, so the whole discussion might be nice from a theoretical point of view but that's it. I see it this way: if I had put all the hours into something commercially viable instead of QPC there would be a Ferrari waiting outside instead of a Mitsubishi. I don't regret doing it, it's still fun and I'm happy to donate some of my time to the scene. But what I certainly won't start is yet another project that would eat up my hours by the hundreds. And anyway, if I wanted a completely different look I would just start changing ProWesS instead of doing the same thing again. Some think ProWesS would be faster if written in assembler? Then feel free to do so, the source is right there. But nobody will do so because nobody is willing to invest that much time (or those who might be willing don't have the knowledge which in the end results in the the same fact: nothing done). I'm trying to tweak the code that is already there and do the stuff that just needs to be done. And I'm trying to involve you into the decisions I have to make as much as possible. Unfortunately not much feedback there so far. Marcel
