OK then, so after fixed size prop fonts, what about jobs with output to screen not blocked if overlapped? I know that for TT freezing a job that has part of its window overlapped is a feature. But I don't like it, I would in fact prefer to have the choice at system level or even from job to job (with a new parameter in the EXEC command, but that would be harder to implement I suspect). And then the possibility to adjust the number of slave blocks. This possibility (rather than radical suppression of slave blocks) would IMHO be inline with the philosophy of QDOS / SMSQ/E to give the choice to the users. Arnould
