There is a working stack. However several facilities are missing. Among them: PPP support and Name resolution. uQLx has full TCPIP support for some years now and there are a couple of email programs for the QL that can do the job. However what Dave is proposing will be far more complete than those and be a lot more user friendly. For a beta test version of soql (The TCP/IP package on the QL) contact Jon Dent. Make sure you have a SLIP connection with your provider tho or that you have at least a Linux box, where you can effect a slip connection with the QL using the serial port (If you have a regular QL, I strongly recommend you buy the superHermes add on as it is THE ONLY reliable way for serial comms using the QL...). For lower speeds you can still use the QLs serials but the IPC code is bug ridden and very unreliable. At a minimum buy the regular Hermes that at least corrects the serial port bugs (plus a 100 others :-) Phoebus
