Dave does have a point.  If someone sends in a 10-20 line change to an 
SMSQ/E code file (and OK's it for general distribution), there is no need 
to generate a new CD just for this change.  If might be good enough to 
distribute the changes (as diff files or the just the file changed) on 
either floppy disk or e-mail.  For security, floppies would be useful.

Oh, just thought of something.  If all those interested in the source would 
get a PGP signature (both public and private key), the Registrar could PGP 
the source code for each person, so that only they could get unlock the 
source code and get access to it.  Might be useful for some people and it 
would be very secure.  PGP was ported to the QL and is still available for 
other OS's.

For those that don't know, if you run something through PGP with a person's 
public key, it can only be decrypted with that person's private key, which 
is something that only they should have.  I don't know how big the SMSQ/E 
sources are.  If it is huge, this option may not work.  Just a thought.
