There is basically no way to do that. DOS device always shows hidden files and as soon as you write protect it on the PC win2_ will be write protected, too, of course. The only solution is to a) don't connect any DOS drive with the PC partition the QXL.WIN file is on b) only connect the DOS drives to sub-directories that can't lead to the directory the QXL.WIN file is in. > P.S.
