Hmmm forget all that, I misread your statement (snipped)...
Just a thought. If you have QPC2v3.x why don't you assign the dos drive to one 
directory deeper than the location of your qxl.win? That way you won't be able to see 
it... 
At least that's what I think QPC2 can do... Marcel?
